Buying in Dubai
Yes. Foreign nationals can buy freehold property in Dubai's designated freehold areas, which include most of the communities we cover, such as Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, JVC and Dubai Hills Estate.
The main cost is the Dubai Land Department transfer fee of 4% of the purchase price, plus registration and trustee office fees. With a mortgage, budget for 0.25% of the loan for mortgage registration, plus the bank's valuation and arrangement fees. Each listing has a calculator with an estimate.
Off-plan usually means staged payment plans and launch pricing, but you wait for handover and rely on the developer's delivery. Ready homes can be lived in or rented straight away. We'll compare both against your budget, timeline and goals.
Yes. Much of the process can be handled remotely, with documents signed digitally or through a power of attorney. We coordinate viewings by video and keep you updated at each step.
Property ownership can qualify you for UAE residency, including the 10-year Golden Visa for property worth AED 2 million or more, subject to the government's current criteria. We'll point you to the right channel when you're ready.
